The AirCraft SB1231 conical brass reducer is the clean fix: it adapts between a 1/2" and a 1/8" connection using a male/female (M/F) layout, letting you bridge sizes on compressors, regulators, filters, spray equipment and general airline plumbing without rebuilding your setup. Brass construction delivers workshop-tough durability and corrosion resistance, while the conical sealing style helps create a reliable connection when installed correctly.

Extra Information

  • Confirm your required thread standard/type and the correct M/F orientation before installation.
  • Use PTFE thread seal tape or a suitable pneumatic thread sealant where applicable to help prevent leaks.
  • Start threads by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten using the flats—avoid over-tightening.
  • After fitting, pressurise gradually and check for leaks using soapy water before putting the system into full service.

Pro Tip

  • For PTFE tape, wrap in the direction of the thread (so it doesn’t unwind while tightening) and keep tape clear of the opening to prevent debris entering the air line—small details, big reliability.
