A wood rasp is a hand tool designed to shape and smooth wood. Unlike a traditional file, which has fine, parallel teeth, a rasp has larger, individual teeth that are raised from the surface. This design allows it to remove material more aggressively, making it ideal for rough shaping and removing large amounts of wood.
Application:
- A rasp produces a rough cut and is used primarily on soft materials such as wood, aluminum and lead.
- Woodworking
- DIY
Features
- Plastic and Soft rubber grip handle.
- Uniform & individual teeth for variety of applications.
- T12 steel, hardened and tempered for durability.
