Safety

• Wear suitable eye, ear and dust protection when routing or drilling.

• Make sure the router, guide plate and cutter are correctly fitted before use.
• Clamp the guide rail and workpiece securely before drilling.
• Set the correct drilling depth before starting to prevent drilling through the workpiece unintentionally.
• Keep hands clear of the router bit, hinge cutter and drilling path at all times.
• Allow the router bit to stop completely before lifting the router from the guide plate or workpiece.
• Disconnect the router from power before changing cutters, adjusting the guide plate or cleaning the system.
• Use dust extraction where possible, especially when drilling MDF, chipboard or coated panels.
• Check all stops and fences before drilling production panels to avoid repeated layout errors.
