Extra Information

• This is the I-Basic version and is supplied without battery packs or charger.
• The extractor requires 2 x 18 V Festool battery packs to operate in cordless mode.
• Runtime depends on the battery capacity used and the selected suction power level.
• Festool lists runtime examples from 12 - 22 minutes with 2 x 4.0 Ah battery packs, 16 - 30 minutes with 2 x 5.2 Ah battery packs and 24 - 45 minutes with 2 x 8.0 Ah battery packs.
• For continuous cordless working, Festool recommends using four battery packs with a suitable rapid charger setup.
• Wet extraction requires the correct special wet filter before use.
• The extractor can connect to the Festool app for operating data, warnings and software update support where available.

Safety

• Wear eye, ear and dust protection where required by the application and the material being worked.
• Use only for dust types suitable for Dust Class L extraction.
• Do not use for hazardous dust outside the approved dust class of the extractor.
• Use the correct filter bag, main filter and hose setup before starting work.
• Use the correct special wet filter before any wet extraction work.
• Do not operate the extractor with damaged batteries, damaged housing, damaged hose or missing filters.
• Keep the hose clear of sharp edges, hot surfaces and moving machine parts.
• Remove the battery packs before cleaning, changing filters or carrying out maintenance.
• Do not allow the filter bag to overfill, as this can reduce suction performance and cause dust leakage.
