Extra Information

The charger is suitable for compatible Festool BP and BPC lithium-ion battery packs within the supported voltage and capacity ranges.
Older BP-XS battery packs used with specific CXS and TXS models are not compatible with the SCA 16.
The green READY indicator illuminates when the battery pack is more than 80% charged and ready for use; charging continues in the background until 100% is reached.
A flashing green LED indicates that the battery pack is currently charging.
A steady red LED indicates that the battery temperature is outside the permitted charging range. Charging begins automatically once the correct temperature is reached.
A flashing red LED indicates a general fault such as incomplete contact, a short circuit or a defective battery pack.
The charging times shown by the manufacturer are approximate and may vary according to battery type, temperature, condition and mains supply.
The SCA 16 may become warm during continuous or repeated charging cycles. This is normal provided the ventilation openings remain unobstructed.

Completely unwind the mains power cable from the cable-storage area.
Confirm that the available mains voltage and frequency correspond with the specifications on the charger.

Wait for the yellow charge-status LED to indicate that the charger is ready.
Slide the compatible Festool battery pack fully into the charging station until correctly seated.
