Safety

• Wear eye, ear and dust protection when cutting, trimming, scraping or plunge cutting.
• Use the correct oscillating accessory for the material being cut or scraped.
• Check that the blade or accessory is securely locked in the StarlockMax holder before use.
• Remove the battery before changing accessories, fitting attachments or cleaning the machine.
• Keep hands clear of the cutting area and never place fingers behind the cut line.
• Secure the workpiece properly before cutting or scraping.
• Use the depth stop where there is a risk of cutting into hidden material behind the workpiece.
• Use dust extraction and suitable respiratory protection when cutting plasterboard, MDF, filler, coatings or dusty materials.
• Do not use damaged, bent, blunt or overheated accessories.
• Allow the accessory to stop completely before placing the machine down.
