Festool CT-ASA FLX J Flexible Boom Arm For CT 26 To CT 48 Dust Extractors
At a Glance: Flexible 1 m top-guided extraction arm for cleaner, safer and more ergonomic working
The Festool CT-ASA FLX J is a flexible boom arm designed to guide the suction hose and power cable from above, keeping your working area cleaner, safer and far less frustrating. Instead of hoses dragging across the workpiece, snagging on corners or creating a trip hazard, the CT-ASA FLX J keeps everything neatly routed overhead. It is ideal for mobile workstations, sanding, sawing and routing tasks where proper dust extraction and free movement around the workpiece make a big difference.
With modular plastic chain links, a height-adjustable telescopic tube and compact SYS-MFT storage, the CT-ASA FLX J is made for flexible use. Simply unroll the arm, attach it to the extractor, MFT or MW 1000 setup, route the hose and cable, and get to work with less clutter and more comfort.
Product highlights
- Hose guide from above: Keeps the suction hose and cable clear of the workpiece and floor.
- Safer working area: Reduces snagging, tripping and hose drag during sanding, sawing or routing work.
- Flexible 1 m arm: Modular chain links allow the extraction arm length to be adjusted as required.
- Height-adjustable setup: Supplied telescopic tube allows the arm height to be adjusted for the working situation.
- Compact storage: The arm rolls up neatly and stores in the SYS-MFT Systainer.
- Multi-station use: Can be attached to compatible CT dust extractors, the MW 1000 mobile workshop or an MFT multifunction table.
- Integrated cable routing: Hose and power cable can be routed inside the arm and fixed with hook-and-loop straps.
Extra Information
- The CT-ASA FLX J is designed for Festool CT 26 to CT 48 dust extractors.
- The flexible arm can be attached to the mobile extraction unit and can also be used with the MW 1000 mobile workshop or an MFT multifunction table using the telescopic tube.
- The SYS-MFT Systainer lid includes an MFD perforated plate for clamping and fixing workpieces.
- The modular chain design allows the 1 m arm to be shortened by removing chain links where needed.
- The plug it cable system on compatible tools makes quick machine changes easier while working with the boom arm setup.
Pro Tips
- Route both the suction hose and plug it cable neatly through the arm before starting work to get the full benefit of the overhead guide.
- Adjust the telescopic tube height so the hose floats above the workpiece without pulling on the tool.
- For sanding jobs on an MFT, position the boom arm so the hose follows the natural movement of the sander.
- Shorten the flexible arm by removing chain links if you are working in a smaller or tighter workstation setup.
- Roll the arm back into the SYS-MFT after use to protect it during transport and keep all accessories together.
How to Use
- Place the dust extractor, MFT or MW 1000 in the desired working position.
- Remove the flexible extraction arm and telescopic tube from the SYS-MFT Systainer.
- Attach the telescopic tube securely to the compatible mounting point.
- Adjust the telescopic tube height to suit the tool and working area.
- Unroll the flexible arm and position it above the work surface.
- Route the suction hose and power cable through the arm and secure them with the hook-and-loop fasteners.
- Connect the hose to the dust extractor and the tool.
- Check that the hose and cable move freely without pulling on the tool.
- Start the extractor and begin work with the hose guided safely from above.
Features
