The Tork Craft TC08427 Mini Sanding Sleeve pack is designed for detailed sanding, shaping, smoothing and surface preparation with a compatible 6.4mm mini sanding drum. These 60 grit sanding sleeves are ideal for more aggressive material removal, making them perfect for shaping wood, cleaning edges, smoothing contours, removing rough spots and preparing small workpieces before finer sanding. Their compact cylindrical format makes them especially useful for curves, holes, inside edges, profiles and tight areas where larger sanding tools cannot reach. A practical choice for DIY, contractor, fabrication, modelling, crafting, engraving, sign-making and fine woodworking applications.

Coarse mini sanding sleeves for controlled rotary tool sanding

The TC08427 forms part of the Tork Craft mini sanding drum and sleeve range. Designed for use with a compatible 6.4mm sanding drum, these 60 grit sleeves are well suited to fast shaping, rough sanding and surface clean-up before moving to finer grit sleeves for finishing.

Pro Tips

  • Use 60 grit for shaping and rough sanding, then move to 120 grit or 240 grit for a smoother finish.

  • Use light pressure and let the abrasive sleeve do the work for better control and longer sleeve life.
  • Replace the sleeve once it becomes clogged, worn or starts sanding unevenly.

How to Use

  • Loosen the screw on the compatible 6.4mm sanding drum if required.
  • Slide the sanding sleeve fully over the rubber sanding drum.
  • Tighten the sanding drum so the sleeve is held securely in place.
  • Fit the sanding drum shank into a compatible mini rotary tool collet or chuck.
  • Select the correct speed for the material being sanded.
  • Put on the correct safety gear, including eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask or respirator.
  • Sand with light, steady pressure while keeping the drum moving over the workpiece.
  • Switch off the tool and allow the accessory to stop completely before changing sleeves or setting the tool down.
