The Tork Craft TC08425 Mini Sanding Drum is a compact rotary tool accessory designed for detailed sanding, shaping, smoothing and finishing work. With its 6.4mm drum diameter and 3.2mm shank, it is ideal for use in small areas where larger sanding tools cannot reach. The expandable rubber drum grips compatible sanding sleeves securely during use, making it perfect for controlled work on curves, holes, contours, edges and detailed profiles. The TC08425 is part of the Tork Craft mini sanding drum and sleeve range. It is designed for use with compatible 6.4mm sanding sleeves and a mini rotary tool, giving the user excellent control for sanding small workpieces, shaping profiles and cleaning up detailed surfaces.

Pro Tips

  • Use a coarser sanding sleeve for shaping and material removal, then move to a finer grit for finishing.
  • Keep the sanding drum moving to avoid heat build-up and uneven sanding marks.
  • Let the sanding sleeve do the work. Too much pressure can wear the sleeve faster and reduce control.
  • Check that the sleeve is seated properly on the drum before switching the rotary tool on.

How to Use

  • Slide a compatible 6.4mm sanding sleeve over the rubber sanding drum.
  • Fit the 3.2mm shank into the compatible rotary tool collet or chuck.
  • Tighten the collet securely and check that the sanding drum is firmly held.
  • Select the correct speed for the material being sanded.
  • Put on the correct safety gear, including eye protection, hearing protection and a dust mask or respirator.
  • Bring the sanding sleeve gently into contact with the workpiece using light, steady pressure.
