The Festool FS 1400/2 Guide Rail is the original precision guide rail that has set the benchmark for accurate cutting and routing since its introduction. Designed to work seamlessly with compatible Festool plunge-cut saws, circular saws, routers, jigsaws and selected accessories, it delivers perfectly straight cuts, accurate grooves and exceptional repeatability for professional woodworking and construction applications.

Featuring an integrated splinter guard positioned directly on the cutting line, the FS 1400/2 produces clean, tear-out-free cuts while simultaneously indicating the exact cutting position. The slideway lining allows machines to glide effortlessly along the rail, while the non-slip backing helps keep the guide rail securely positioned on smooth workpieces without damaging delicate surfaces.

Additional grooves accommodate screw clamps, quick clamps and other Festool guide rail accessories, greatly expanding the rail&s versatility. Multiple guide rails can also be connected together using optional guide rail connectors to create a longer, perfectly aligned cutting system for large sheet materials and oversized workpieces.
